What is dead man’s clique?
Dead Man’s Clique or DMC is a culture and lifestyle brand. Centered around adrenaline-based sports, combat sports, fitness, coffee, art, tattoos and socialising. Started as a way of demonstrating to people that adrenaline-fueled sports in Dubai were not out of grasp. We began showcasing our daily antics on social media and the concept has continued to evolve.
We have a global, organic, growing following of like-minded individuals. We promote our community through weekly bootcamps and discounted activities. We host monthly social events, showcasing the sports that we represent. We are REAL people, approachable, true to ourselves, human. We have not and will not sell out.

Ross Bowden
Master of Mayhem
Ross is a former Royal Marines Commando, having served within the elite unit for nearly 15 years, completing 3 operational tours in that time and finishing his military career as the training sergeant across a broad range of disciplines within UKSF. Hobbies include, but are not limited to, fitness, skydiving, skateboarding and generally living outside of his comfort zone. Ross is a high-energy, driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and a keen eye for opportunity. His ability to build communities is unprecedented in a digital world.
Tylan Williams
Head of Danger
Tylan has an honours degree in Civil Engineering and practised as an engineer for a number of years before becoming a Change Manager for one of South Africa’s top banks. During this time, Tylan coached both junior and senior provincial touch rugby teams. Tylan realised his passion lies within the outdoor and physical space and moved towards professional personal training. Hobbies include, but are not limited to, jujitsu, skydiving, touch rugby (represented South Africa in the 2011 and 2015 Touch Rugby World Cups) and fitness.

STRXNGHXLD is hosted at Vic Sports Complex (VSC) facility. Comprising two distinct sections, VSC boasts a comprehensive ‘functional fitness’ zone and a dedicated weightlifting area, each equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus to cater to diverse training needs. Complementing these workout spaces is a sophisticated co-working environment, seamlessly integrated into the operational hours of the gym, providing members with a versatile space to transition between work and relaxation.
Elevating the fitness experience, STRXNGHXLD offers specialized classes throughout the week. With a combination of strength and conditioning classes and a weekly bootcamp session that features a large-group High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) circuit, STRXNGHXLD not only provides motivation but also fosters a sense of community.
