1. Agreement
By creating an account, signing up for a membership, attending a session, or otherwise using Dead Man's Clique, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not sign up — and if you have already signed up, cancel at /account/billing or email us.
2. Membership
Dead Man's Clique membership costs AED 200 per month and is billed monthly through Stripe. Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time at /account/billing; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
3. What members get
- Access to scheduled training sessions at our active locations (FIVE JVC and FIVE Palm; Abu Dhabi opening soon).
- Member-only content in the account portal — session notes, mischief feed, recaps.
- Sponsor-partner discounts redeemed via your member QR code.
- Invitations to member events.
- The ability to submit mischief at /account/submissions.
4. What members don't get
To be explicit about what is not included:
- No personal training programming.
- No nutrition coaching.
- No medical advice.
Dead Man's Clique sessions are group fitness activities. Anything that looks like coaching, nutrition, or medical guidance from staff or other members is informal and is not a professional service. If you need any of those things, see a qualified professional.
5. Conduct
While using the service you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other members, staff, or coaches.
- Post hate speech or discriminatory content.
- Share your member QR code, account credentials, or wallet pass with anyone else.
- Scrape, automate, or otherwise reverse-engineer the site or its APIs.
- Violate venue rules at any location.
6. Waiver & assumption of risk
Training is an exercise activity and carries an inherent risk of injury. By signing the waiver in your profile and attending sessions you confirm that:
- You are physically fit to participate.
- You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions to coaching staff.
- You accept that injury can happen even when sessions are run carefully.
Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
7. Intellectual property
Site content — branding, written content, videos, photography, session structures — belongs to Dead Man's Clique or our licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.
Mischief submissions. Content you submit at /account/submissions remains yours. By submitting it you grant Dead Man's Clique a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the mischief feed and related promotional material. You can request removal of a specific submission at any time by emailing us; the licence ends for that submission when we take it down.
8. Termination
We can suspend or terminate your membership for material or repeated breach of these terms. If we terminate you for convenience (not for breach) mid-period, we will refund the unused, pro-rata portion of your current billing period. If you cancel mid-period, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not refund pro-rata for self-cancellation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dead Man's Clique is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or attendance at sessions. Our total aggregate liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the amount you paid for membership during that period. Nothing in this section waives consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
10. Disputes & governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them — including non-contractual disputes — will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will email active members at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The Last updated date above always reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
